Original Foreigner frontman Lou Gramm has released a video message expressing his gratitude for the band's nomination for the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.

In a one minute clip, he thanked The Rock Hall, as well as fans and his band members. He also acknowledged Mick Jones “for his courage as he faces Parkinson's”.

About being nominated, Gramm said he has: “definitely been feeling the buzz. It's really exciting and it means a lot. It means a lot to me and all the guys in the band”.

To be eligible for this year's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ballot, each nominee's first single or album had to have been released in 1999 or earlier. Foreigner’s first hit, “Feels Like The First Time,” was released in 1977.
