Linda Perry will receive the Special International Award at the 2026 Ivor Novello Awards, organizers announced ahead of the ceremony in London.

The honor recognizes an international songwriter whose work has made a significant impact on the UK music industry. The 71st edition of the awards is scheduled for May 21, 2026, at Grosvenor House.

Perry first gained wide recognition as the lead singer and songwriter of 4 Non Blondes, whose 1993 single Whats Up? became a global hit. She later built a long career as a songwriter and producer for other artists.

Her credits include work connected to Christina Aguilera, Alicia Keys, Celine Dion, Adele, Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus, Gwen Stefani, P!nk, and others. Perry is also known for writing or co-writing songs that became major releases across pop, rock, and adult contemporary formats.

The Ivor Novello Awards focus on songwriting and composition, with honors given across categories covering popular music, screen music, and individual achievement.
